i've only read the front page and not downloaded the rar file on this, but if it indeed the hydrogen used within the water then the waste product is oxygen....... in theory does this mean I no longer have to pay car tax becuase it gives of 0 CO2 emissions?

If it were true then I'd say "yes". I know they were testing a bus which ran on water somewhere, but it used the oxygen and gave out hydrogen, IIRC.

I don't think it's possible to convert your car yourself, though. :-D

found this thread completely by accident duck!

I must say, slightly perturbed that you just may be being a touch sarcastic, no?

EDIT: Soo yes, I still stand by my original point that, in theory at least, it is possible.

Didn't stop me getting flamed and trolled to death in the other thread though.

And I never said do it yourself..........just said that it had been tried before and that it was smothered.

Heh, I'm actually a little bit wrong...

The buses they were testing didn't run on water... they ran on HYDROGEN which, during the process of being in the engine, converted to water and was output as water vapour.

also im fairly sure u said you could convert your own car for around 50 quid :P

Haha, the government have got this sewn up.

There was a man a good few years ago who modified an engine to run on pure water. The modification is simple, costs 50 quid, but the oil companies paid him MILLIONS for his method, and buried it.

We don't NEED oil as alternatives are out there, but as long as the alternatives are hidden from us by companies and governments, we will be subject to their whims.
