my OH is a reception/year one teacher, she often uses online games and things to help teach the kids which they use on the interactive whiteboard and find great.

sites like the bbc schools site are good for info, games and activites bbc.co.uk/sch…11/

my eldest son was like that, and now he is one of the best in alot of his subjects,i think u will find that when he is ready to learn his attitude towards learning will change
maybe buy him a handheld toy/learning toy such as a laptop or an l-max learning system u can play games on these as well as learn.my 3rd child is 5 next month and plays alot with these things

Our kids loved the Reader Rabbit series which is still going strong - pick up copies on ebay or multipacks from Amazon - reading, maths, year 1, year 2 etc. Mias Maths/Science/Reading a bit dated now, but still good to play with. Zoombinis develop logic skills which can be applied to learning but it seems like you're just playing a game.

The reader rabbit games are good, someone on here was selling some a week or so ago, otherwise I think you can ick them up fairly cheap. Amazon are selling them but I am sure you can get them cheaper.

thanks for all that info thats cool will look into all...thanks again..:)

oh and another thing, a nintendo ds is great!

my OH was told about thiese twins, one who wouldn't stop playing the brain training style games and one who hated and never used the ds. the one with the ds performed so much better on almost all the tests they were given!

I find this google kids site is fantastic,
