EE Pay Monthly calls now on Alexa

EE have just activated calls on Amazon’s Alexa platform, so you can now connect your pay monthly account to your Echo device to make and receive calls using your EE call allowances. Could be helpful for those working at home for conference calls etc.

Note: Alexa calling capabilities have been active with Alexa for Vodafone customers for a while, in case you happen to be with Vodafone instead of EE.

Never been wholly clear if the Alexa Calling service to UK mobiles & lls is "no additional cost" with no requirement to pair to a Voda / EE contract. Some may question the benefit of using contract allowances if not required, and/or question the helpfulness of help page at amazon.co.uk/gp/…140
Meanwhile I can use calls on my Google Home without having a phone number or my mobile network connected
