    Electric Potato Peeler

Ok folks my mum has Arthritis in her hands, its not bad but she does find it hard on her hands and fingers to do the peeling as afterwards her hands are all sore and sometimes she cant move her fingers.

Im wondering if there are any good ones out there that really peel the potatoes well and that are not just a "stand there" gimmik !

I really need it to be a good, long lasting one with a good name, if anyone has got one and would like to share their experiences all is welcome !
do they make a lot of noise?

    thanks everyone

Does your mum have a Kenwood chef?

The reason I ask is because you can get a potato peeling attachment for it,about £34,it is the only one I know of.

If she has not got a kenwood chef then it is probably not worth considering as the mixer is about £150!!!!

This would be a god send to all mothers and the odd man lol, just think we always use potatoes, we have them at least 3 times a week and this peice of kit would be fantastic.....only hope it doesnt make that much of a sound.

It looks similar in style to the kenwood attachment,in all honesty I doubt that there will be a huge range to choose from.

Will try and think of somewhere that might sell 'em.....give me few mins..

Well there is this thing ]click $21.99 from amazon(usa)

lol yeh thats a nifty idea but a bit time consuming when she has to peel 8 or more potatoes

I've seen the rotato peeler on the shopping channel - it looks a bit naff and some of the reviews are not terrific.....

If you are looking for a UK supplier Thane Direct do it.....
