ok here goes !!!!

i work for greggs the bakers in the main factory in leeds and before i started i got a contract sent out to to me which states all the terms etc etc and at one point in the contract it states

for the first 12 weeks you will be on 7.29 a hour which then goes up to 9.12 a hour

now the reason i joined was for the 9.12 a hour

anyways i have passed the 12 week trial a few weeks ago since then i have had 3 wage slips all with a advance but not the 9.12 stated in the contract

so yesterday i showed my boss and he said he will contact personell now he did and this morning i got a letter from greggs with a revised contract which only pays 7.97 hour which they want me to sighn and send back

now to me this a whole load of **** !! i am so angry now !!

if i was a footballer and i sighned for another club because the money was better and i got there and they said hahah sorry mate we aint paying you all that !!!

so what do i do ? im not in the union at work i know i should be but suerly this stinks !!!

In some instances you have to have worked for an employer for more than 12 months before you can get access to an Employment Tribunal. Telephione ACAS (employment law specialists) and see what they say. Or try adviceguide.org.uk
£9.12 an hour for making sausage rolls? Surely you knew that was a mistake!

Every Greggs I've been in has been staffed by imbeciles

and before i started i knew nothing of old contracts new contracts etc i started there because the contract said 9.12 a hour its local and people said its good money working there ... anyways i need to keep calm or i wont get anywhere
Correct about keeping calm

Just explain to them that you've signed a contract and you expect them to honour it

Your problem arises from not being there for a reasonable period - read up about termination from the contract
