End of contract with 3, how many 'upgrade' offers?

My contract ends shortly with 3, I am using a Motorola A835 and that barely works, it has to be plugged into the mains to keep charge. The A1000 supplied with the contract was 'pants'.

Anyhoo, how many calls do you think, out of the 10 that are stored in my 'Received Calls' section are about upgrading? Out of 10, we have 9. Yep 9. 3 from OSPS, 2 from 3store (or whatever they call it), 2 direct from 3, 1 from a dodgy mobile and I can't remember the other.

Do I really need to be called this number of times do you think?

Yes.

They are a pain. It can be fun if you have a few minutes spare and they ring. You can take them on a wild goose chase or simply mess with their minds. Either way, it's all good.

I've just been boring them all with how bad the service is, oddly they all agree yet want to sign me up for another 12 months. It's on their time and at their cost I guess.

So they're saying, "Yes we're horrible. Will you sign up for another 12 months?" heehee. Well, I'd say ask them what they're willing to do for you to make you happy.

May try that... Though I suspect it will be just a 'we'll give you a new phone'. I got an offer of a free phone, but it was a cheap one anyway. I'm on Vodafone now with a K750i, even that phone is unreliable. Anyone else noticed that the only good phones were early Nokia's, such as the 3310? I still have my 3330 actually...

my K750i has been rock solid. I had a K700i prior to it and didn't have any probs with it either.

what problems you having? you using the latest firmware?
Vodafone usually cripple the firmware more than the other networks in my experience.

The only problem I had with my last 2 K750i's (yes, it's been replaced) was the Vodafone software. I have no idea what firmware it's on, it should work 100% or not be sold, simple really. If it breaks again, I'll sell the replacement and use my 3330. Just wish I could sell 3 for a few pennies, all they are worth...
