    Engagement ring - round 2!!!

Hey people I previously posted a request on help with getting an engagement ring

    hotukdeals.com/ite…ng/

The ring refered to above, well i asked the jeweller if they could provide a certificate, and they says no. Cutting the story short i work next to a watch shop and got speaking to the owner, told him my dilemma. .... He told me he was friends with a jeweller - joseph ray... who is and has dealt primarily in the diamond market for years. he says he would speak to him and see if he could get me a cheap deal. he went over the next day and came back with a ring..........

It two had to price tags on it £3900 reduce to £2400..........

My friend got him down to £1800

What i now need help with is deciding if this is a good deal.

Its a Platium ring with a princess cut daimond as well as diamond shoulders..

The main diamond = 0.5 Carrot
the Diamond shoulder = 0.4 Carrot

For those that know about diamonds.... colour = G
    Clairty = VS1

    ALL HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

oh right, you're the one who added an extra '0' digit to the '£17500' price tag LOL ...

has the ring got two diamonds on the shoulders? the colour g isnt the best but the clarity of the diamonds is good with vs1, which means very slight inclusions, which would not be visible to the naked eye

No more than £1200 I would say.

Take a look at blue nile... They have plenty of tips for looking for diamonds...

""Lockstockdude has the ring got two diamonds on the shoulders? the colour g isnt the best but the clarity of the diamonds is good with vs1, which means very slight inclusions, which would not be visible to the naked eye ""

yeah it has 2 daimonds on the shoulder..... I read about the colour G.... this website quotes '-cooldiamonds.com/dia…tml '

------------------------- "Most people will not be able to tell the difference between a ' D' and a 'G' colour when mounted. If you're the type of person who wants the absolute best, by all means purchase a 'D' colour; but don't be surprised if a lower colour grade looks just as "

So i think im ok with that.... to be honest Im still lost....
