Engine coolant? Prestone?

Anyone tried prestone? Or even mixing prestone with their current coolant? Claims it can be mixed with ANY coolant

My car requires Toyota super long life coolant.

Was thinking to just flush it and add some aftermarket coolant instead?
Don’t want to risk snapping the drain plug on the engine. So will just flush it with water few times

Many thanks

It's fine as a top-up if you are low and grab some from a garage or supermarket.
I personally wouldn't use it as a full on replacement.
I would just grab some from the Toyota dealer (about £35) and do it properly. After all it lasts 10 years or 100,000 miles.
I added prestone to my golf and it caused an eruption of volcanic proportions

I think your right. I’ll give Toyota a ring.

I'd just give Toyota £35 cos that's dirt cheap to bypass the marriage.
