Hi Guy's/Gals and non Binary folk. I'm looking at en entry level gaming PC for my son (age 10). I've come across a "Fierce EXILE Gaming PC, Fast AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 3.7GHz, 1TB HDD, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon Vega 8". Would this be OK? I'm not very good at this sort of thing. What am I looking for? Any help greatly appreciated Looking at around £370 for the tower.

Depends what he wants to do with it. If your slightly techy building one would work out cheaper. Ryzens need good speed ram tho. The gfx on that machine are built into the cpu. Not terrible but not the best. Gimme 2 Mins ill try part one up for u

40477241-Q7A8g.jpgNow this is a little more. But the ram is faster making the pc much faster plus a ssd for your operating system aswell. A decent power supply so there is upgrades possible in the future. Now personally I would go for a few 2nd hand parts. Cpu and ram from cex would be good. I personally have bought them parts from cex in the past and there still going 4yrs down the line.

Could get a 2200g from cex for 52. 20 quid cheaper then new. Or even upgrade to the 3200g for 65 still saving 10.

I could shave a small amount off this as I already have 2 Seagate Barracuda 1TB drives. Top draw stuff. Thank you

No problem. Need any more help message me if you want. Building a pc isn't hard tbh giant jigsaw just watch a few YouTube videos and all good. Check out ebay or Facebook selling pages for parts aswell (always use PayPal goods and service) pre builts are hardly ever worth the money if you have the ability to put one together your self :-)
Sorry me again haha just had a look and you could even get a ryzen 5 2400g from cex witch would fit with all the other parts above for £75 and would give you 4 cores and 8 threads instead of 4 cores and threads. I was basing my price on 300 not 370 sorry. If you want I can message you a new build taking that into account

Thank you. I've replaced parts in PC's before so I should be OK putting one together... Famous last words.

But only 8GB RAM. This is the min spec for most games?

Indeed a 1050ti is better then vega 8. But I have also shown him a build with 16gb 300mhz ram 6c 12t cpu and 290x 8gb for less then that zoostorm. Pre build are rarely good value imo

The first build I made i thought he was looking to spend 300 not 370 so made a few mistakes and have now made adjustments :-)

But if you factor genuine win 10 key. Price is about right.

And there are ppl can't diagnose the problem of PC when it when wrong.

I mean if you pay the full price for win 10 then yeah but noone does that haha.
Honestly no. Integrated graphics are very poor.

When I was younger I made the mistake of getting a pc which is very similar to the one you’re describing.

Let me know if you are willing to buy second hand and I can find some good ones for you!
