Does anyone have expereince of this Physical sim (for use in the spare sim slot of Android) thta then allows you to make your phone eSIm compatible with options to add a few profiles.

esim.me/

IS it worth the price ? $29.99 minimum.

Or are there simialr alternatives, to convery and dual SIm handet into eSIm compatible one?

Thanks for any further info.

It implies his phone is not esim compatible and he wants to contract an esim.

I still am at a loss. Can't see what the benefits are?

In any case, I wouldn't touch that company with a hadron collider (edited)

Thats for use in a dual sim slot handset, which DOES NOT HAVE an eSIm built in. So one slot effectively becomes an eSIm, thus adding the functionality by inserting this physical eSIM.

Willy Wonk, Have you had a bad experince with this company? (edited)

The app is indeed wonky. It said that my phone was compatible so I bought the chip which 30 Euro plus €10 shipping. It worked upon first installation and first load of a data plan, and then it stopped working. Customer support was not helpful and blame the data's profile supplier. That's like blaming a farmer because the potatoes that you got from the grocery store we're bad. Customer support was also unprofessional and very defensive and was reluctant to provide a refund without a RAM and then only if I paid for the shipping to send the chip back. If they're looking for additional investors the investors need to be where because the founders although they have a good idea have got their heads up where the sun don't shine

Esim contracts can be purchased online, and can be convenient when travelling.

Personally I wouldnt, given the implications esims make for privacy.

No dealings with the company but I had a look about.

I have a few LG phones with embeded SIMs and a few medical devices. Personally I'd rather stick to the ordinary SIM, cheaper to replace and switch providers and less to worry about should it lost or stolen.

Some service providers also charge extra for eSIM contracts, something I am not happy about. (edited)

I would use THIS sim as a backup option, when needed and not for my Main number which is a Physical sim in a Dual SIm handset.

Nevertheless, a good alternative for those (majority of android owners) whose phones dont support or have an embedded esim.

I thinkits a niche product currently till other similar alternatives come along. Hence my query, if anyone has user experience of this.
