    Euro Notes

    Hi all,

    Hoping someone can help me.

I am in receipt of some old 1st series Euros which I bought back with me from a holiday many years ago and never bothered changing up. I was hoping to take and spend these notes on my upcoming holiday. Do you know whether I will encounter any problems doing this or do they need to be converted to the new 2nd series Euro notes first?

Thank you for your input and clarification.

I just checked the Europe site and they say that although they have the 2nd series in circulation the 1st are still legal tender and as yet have no date for them to be not legal tender
