Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet thats basicly a list using cells A, B , C full of data down to the 3,000 mark. Now on the right side in coloum D i have a box that I would like to keep on the side to display other info.

I would like this box to stay with me as I scroll down.
I cant use the frezze panes thing as I have the titles accross A1 B1 C1 that awlays need to stay there.

Is there a way I can frezze this box so it will stay there as I scroll down?

any help would be great.

Thx

Yes just freeze panes on the view tab ...If you have 2007 just drag the tab on the right bottom corner...Good Luck

sorry i dont follow.

I have Excel 2003

I haven't got 2003 anymore...I believe you highlight the column go onto view and click on Freeze Panes and that will keep the column there...Very hard to explain actually...Or go to help (F1 Button) and type it in and that may explain better

If it's just 1 cell you could use the "Watch". Right click on the cell and "add watch"

could you not just move everything along and put column D where column A was, then freeze it?

o, yeah i have the very top cell frozen, under each heading there is a list of data like:

_A_ _B_ _C_ _D_
1| Data Data Data Data
2| Data Data Data Data
3| Data Data Data Data
4| Data Data Data
5| Data Data Data

id like the data in the D section to stay with me as i scroll down the spreadsheet, but i dont want to see what in A1, B2 C3 etc..

hard to explain lol

It is very hard to try to explain Excel I think I will skip questions on it from now lol

Open the page in another window and keep one static whilst you move the other one.

Window:New Window; then

Window:Arrange:Horizontal or Vertical

Bob is the sibling of your parent

Don't think that this can be done. - Somebodys idea seems to be your only solution.

Watch allows you to view the contents of a single/range of cells. It opens a popup window with the cell name and contents. If the contents are a formular linked to changing values with in the sheet this is reflected in the results.
