Excel/Google docs help please.

Normally not bad with excel but this has me beat:

I have a results page for motor racing. Drivers are put in order following a qualifying session. Once the race is complete, i put the drivers in finishing order. Next to their name i want to put a number depending on where they finished in relation to their qualifying position. E.g they qualify in 2nd and in the race they finish 5th so next to their name will be the number 3 to signify they finished 3 places lower than their qualifying position. Additionally, if they finish higher, lower or in the same position, i want to put an image of an arrow (up,down etc)

Anyone able to offer any assistance?

Thanks in advance.

Seems like a straight forward sum to minus finished from qualified then conditional formatting applied would do the trick. If you need assistance feel free to PM me.
