Exchange of iphone 3g for iphone 4

Hi, I have a officially unlocked iphone 3G 8gb which is working fine. However i realise i m using its camera more and more for taking pictures and therefore wondering about upgrading to the iphone 4.
I m not keen to take another contract as i already have 2 running contracts and plenty of minutes and text that i dont use much.
So what are the options ? If i buy a phone from the apple store would my current network provider (T mobile) provide me with a micro sim?
please let me know your views
    thanks in advance

I am about to do the same with O2 and the answer is yes.

Buy your phone from Apple then take receipt to your provider (T mobile I think you said) and they will give you a new mico sim for when your new phone arrives at which point you need to attached Iphone 4 to itunes to register the micro sim.

You keep you existing sim to use until the phone arrives.

many thanks for the prompt reply.
any idea how much apple will value the present iphone 3g 8gb for..? the best price in recycle comparison sites is about £170 but i m a bit reluctant to risk sending it by post and wait for the payment to be made.

Not sure, do they buy them back then?

I was looking at CEX think it was £210 if unlocked, this may have gone down now tho.
