eBuyer and Amazon are probably the best places to get External Hard Drive's. Asda is offering refurbished 'Western Digital 250GB USB2.0 External Hard Drive' for £39.99 but in store which is a decent price.

This is £46 with delivery @ Amazon:

    A bit over budget:

Seagate 300GB e-SATA External Hard Drive @ eBuyer. You only get free home delivery with item's over £49.99, so if you buy an item like £47 for a 250 GB you'll still have to pay for home delivery.

    anymore?

Yes I'll have 100's of them as soon as Dell deliver them!

    Sorry just too tempting.:w00t:

You all know you wanted to put it so I saved you the time! As they say time is money! So a Hotdeal to everyone who didn't get one from Dell.

Okay since I'm the only person around, just to waste my time.

Western Digital Elements 320GB USB2.0 External Hard Drive @ £54.04 inc VAT
A bit over budget of the £50 but £5 isn't exactly loads and it's only free home delivery for items over £49.99

    Seagate 300GB e-SATA External Hard Drive 16MB Cache @ £54.99 inc VAT
Okay it's only 300 GB which is less than the other one and it cost a bit more, but the good thing is that it has 'e-SATA' which is a big advantage if your PC has the e-SATA socket as it's alot faster than USB.

Yeh I ordered one of these 250 GB @ £23 the delivery date was suppose to be tomorrow 21st of August but they e-mailed saying 28th of August and I actually think that they aren't gonna exactly deliver em as it's there loss so I bet we all get refunds.

Cheers but is there not any that are smaller hard disk space? like below 100gb?

basically, u can think of two scenario...
    1. 3'5'' drives --> of desktop, external drives, but needs extra power supply
    2. 2'5'' drives --> small, no extra power supply, costly.

    For 1st..
I would say to go for 400GB Maxtor one at ebuyer ... prev it was ebuyer.com/UK/…b/0
This is having 16MB cache, which is really good (fast and easy multi file copying as long as ur PC is having good RPM and cache)

For 2nd.. cant see any good deal, but Maplin one was cheapest in recent days. Had one Lacie in Amazon, but now its showing takes 4-6weeks.

    How about this £39.99 delivered.
    amazon.co.uk/Wes…WEY

Has 8mb cache too as most seem to only have 2mb cache so should be a bit faster.
