External hard drive advice

already have a 250gb WD mybook hard drive but this is now full and need something else. whatever choice i make, chances are it won't fill up very quickly, not for the next few months anyway, so i'd rather go for the product thats less likely to have a major price drop for the next few months.
Ideally I'd like a portable hard drive, that will not fail me.

p.s: all the products i found were cheapest at amazon, out of the following retailers :,,,,

    Here are my "findings"
Western Digital elements 160gb HD for £49.99 (see link #1)
Western Digital Passport 160gb HD for £54.90 (#2)

Western Digital Mybook 500gb HD for £72.98 (#3)
    Freecom classic 500gb HD for £68.65 (#4)
    Seagate 500gb HD for 69.00 (#5)

any advice is appreciated, at the moment I think I will be going for the WD passport

This seems a pretty good deal:-

thanks, but the problem with the portable 250gb one is the power it requires. a lot of people complain their computer usb port don't give enough current and so they need to buy a cable that uses 2 usb ports.

also amazon has it for £79.90

i saw WD 160 gb passport for 45 in argos £
