    External Sata & Power

I'm thinking of buying an SATA Back Plate, that will allow me to plug a SATA hard disk in as I need. ( occasionally booting from this disk )

I've found this and it seems OK:

    It provides 2 x SATA + 1 x Male Molex

Anyone know of any female molex to SATA cables ?

    Or any other suggestions. ?

    Thanks

Looking at that card, it seems to show a male connector.

So I'd thought I'd need a female molex to sata !?
Or have I missed something ?

It certainly looks that way to me in which a Molex power splitter (one male to two females) would do the job (just ignore the male connector).

    Never thought of that !!

    What about something like ebuyer.com/pro…727

Internal caddy that goes into a spare 5.25" bay. Just slot the drive in.
