I'm using an old but trustworthy Asus RT3200
Router in my house, but the Wifi is a bit patchy due to brick walls.
Last year i rewired my house and added Cat6 to every room.
Now im trying to figure out whats the best way to get Wifi throughout the house, either adding another router at the other end of the house (something like an Asus RT-AC86U) or adding a Wifi mesh system.
Is there a wifi mesh system that can use the Cat6 network? Or does it basically repeat the Wifi signal from the router?
The router has to go in the corner beside a brick chimney, its not the best place for it - but due to where the Virgin modem is and the Cat6 cables buried in the walls, there isnt much option.
