12 months warranty take it back? Most electricals have 2 years warranty.
You don't have to have the extra insurance, its under a year old,you ring them up and they give you a date when the courier will call to pick it up for repair, then he returns it to your house once its repaired,

You dont need to package it up or anything, the courier has a case to put it in
If keys have come off from the keyboard, you will have a hard time to get them to replace the keyboard.

The other fault (assuming it's not just Windows that needs reinstalling) should be covered under warranty.

Call Currys/the manufacturer of your computer for trouble shooting and if necessary they will arrange collection of the computer.
yep, ring the tech support line.
if you take it into the store they'll just book it in for repair. from the store.

if you ring up, you can arrange collection from wherever is convenient.

they have up to 28 days from the time the courier comes out I think, to repair or replace, unless the tech guys report shows that the keys have come off due to misuse or abuse.
which you arent covered for.

under the Currys WEH cover you're guaranteed next day callout if you ring before 10am. and the cut off point is 21 days from the report of the fault, not the collection.
you're also covered for accidental damage, inc the data retrieved from the laptop if it was to be written off.
replacement vouchers under WEH can now be issed by email, instead of post, bringing down the turnaround time from old laptop to new one.
Also the service is unlimited and has no excess, loss of no claims bonus or higher premium on renewal, making it a better bet than a lot of house insurance policies.
