Faulty MSI Wind U100 Plus - Problems with Maplin

    Have had to send mine back to Maplin as when I went to upgrade the memory I noticed one of the outer case holes was damaged which is causing a gap between the top and lower case as these pics show;

    Just a quick update guys, Well netbook been with Maplins for nearly 3 weeks now, and initially they shipped it back to me saying the warranty was void as I tampered with the warranty sticker. After much explaining they agreed this had to be done otherwise the memory could not be upgraded. Well they have now offered me the following options;
    a) refund of the £159.99 I paid
    b) ASUS 10.1 inch 1001PX (for £210) so would pay the difference
    c) Straight swap for the White U100 Plus - don't like the white

    What do people suggest I do? Would I have any luck sending this back to MSI who could maybe replace the case?

    I had as well a bad experience dealing with Maplin, I have bought a HDD but what was sold to me did not match with my system, before to buy the item I asked is I was going to be refunded in the case there was any problems was told me yes 100%, but when I went back into the shop the music was different not only be refused the refund but I was mistreated on top of it, followed the complaint procedures for which I did not received any reply, planning now to take the case in court, the good was returned in its original box without any damages, planning to make a blog on line agaist this awful company
