It has to be a ]flock of seagulls for me, maybe not the best song but the song that sends me back to then the most whenever I hear it.

I was absolutely immersed in music in the early 80's

Duran, Blondie, Adam & Ants, Human League, Heaven 17, old new romantic. It was and still is the best(and the worst) era for original music. But then I think you always think music from around the start of your teens is the best whatever your age.

Later in the eighties once of clubbing age spent all my money on Chicago House music.

Lol, Skusey forgot that one, think I still have the 12" in the loft.(should I admit to that?)

Bonnie Tyler - ]Total Eclipse of the Heart

Should of been a Meatloaf number apparently - but a soured relationship with the songwriter allowed Bonnie Tyler to whip it.

Great song, great production, great performance - 'nuff said

btw is it me or is the backing vocal on the intro a Meatloaf impression?

    ]Ultravox - Vienna[/URL]

Great choice by Bella - that's maybe my favorite 80's record
