Just sold a copy of uncharted on the PS3 - and the winning bid was by a purchaser from Brazil who has no feedback whatsoever.

Should I post it to him?

send it recorded delivery....royal mail might have better luck tracking it than they do parcels in the UK!!!! :whistling:

Nope, I wouldn't be happy to send the item to Brazil as the tracking information will likely be limited and as a result a high liklihood of the buyer saying it never arrived.
As for Greece, I once sold a game to someone in Portugal and there were no problems, and I think you can get things internationally tracked so less issues there.

the Greece one with 34 seems ok from their feedback - they've bought games from other uk sellers

"Bids cannot be cancelled after the close of an auction."

Should I just second chance offer to the second highest bidder?

How do I remove the winning bidder so he cant leave feedback etc?

i wouldn't send to brazil, especially to someone with 0 feedback. i usually limit my auctions to the EU

(and you're best off saying there was an error and relisting it)

If you said UK only, email and tell them that then sell to the next highest bidder if you are happy with their bid and feedback.

Quote them extortionate postage (secure tracking through a parcel company), they won't pay, you will be able to dispute it, then offer to someone else or relist! If they do pay the postage then you know its secure. It's their fault for not asking you the cost of the postage in the first place.

Did you state on listing you would send worldwide/to brazil?

If so then just quote buyer for airsure or internationally signed for airmail, you've got a tracking number to prove delivery or in the case it doesn't arrive you claim from royalmail,

You can't cancel their winning bid just like that, you should have set your preferences up when listing

You can't but you can send a request for the transaction to be cancelled with a reason, but its the buyer's choice if they do agree.

Have they paid for the item? I'm not sure if they do confirmed paypal addresses in Brazil but check that too.

Edit

Will the game work in Brazil considering Brazil is a different region and I'm guessing you brought the game here then its a PAL region game?

support.microsoft.com/kb/…223

This shows the regions for the xbox 360, I'm sure it would be the same for PS3

Just had a look at the listing, regardless of the buyer having zero feedback you have underquoted p&p,you've quoted £5 for airsure to brazil, the cheapest airsure to brazil at 100g costs £6.72,rising as the weight increases,so your going to lose out there for sure,

You are obliged to post it to them if they pay or risk negative feedback & a report of seller non performance

That's true, see if you could talk to the buyer and convince him that the game won't work in consoles in Brazil.

If you want to set preferences for extra protection next time

Login to ebay, go to My eBay, My Account, Site Preferences, Selling Preferences and scroll down to Buyer Requirements

You can set buyer requirements here

but you still have to change your shipping location when you place your next auction.

I know it's wrong but i would contact the seller tell them that the item has broken, then get a friend to relist it for you stating UK BIDDERS ONLY. I couldn't be bothered with all the hassle.
