    fiberboard MDF advice ?

hi all looking for a chest of drawers and came across some but im confused as to what these two woods/types are good for as i need them to be good enough to withstand the weight of a crt tv and to hold the contents which is more weight!

    some advice please!

MDF is pretty strong and stable but it will depend on the thickness used and the construction/design of the drawers

You can get real wood fronts which will be better, then the sides, back and inside are MDF which is cheaper. We have MDF drawers etc very high quality stuff from Homebase but it started to bow from the CRT, so we got a flat screen mounted on the wall instead.
