Fibre Optic Cable really loose connection

    Banned
I would tell you what brand it is but i'm too scared to touch it after spending the last 10 minutes trying to get it in that oh so precise position for it to work. It seems the slightest touch it falls out and it has to be in the exact right position. It doesnt even seems to click in just rests on a thread. Anyone else have this problem ?

sometimes its the cable, some dont fit well, well none fit well, but some fit a bit better, try another one from poundland or something? might fit better

i never liked toslinks, and glad scart is finally dying too

then we have micro-usb to be the next unreliable junk connection

it all started with those dodgy aerial connectors....some were looser than (fill in the blanks yourself)

Micro USB won't die, the 5 biggest mobile phone companies are all … Micro USB won't die, the 5 biggest mobile phone companies are all switching to it by 2012 as the phone charger socket to save on all the diff chargers.

I know! already came across it, and its rubbish! mini usb is so much better and not much bigger

I bet motorola will still find a way to mess with it, same way they dont charge off usb now, even though they are mini usb sockets....

The new WD passport drives use micro USB

the previous ones used mini usb, and are reliable, read up on the new micro ones, and that is the problem everyone is having

my few years old motorola mobile is mini usb, (not the new micro) and it wont charge off a standard mini usb charger, only a motorola specced (or ebay pretend) one, so i dont doubt shennanigans when it comes to micro usb
