Found 28th Sep 2010
Heads up to anyone, i rang my local asda today and they told me they are doing Fifa 11 on PS3/Xbox 360 for £26 on release date this Thursday Midnight for release!

Obviously this will be store specific, so give your local store a call to confirm this. I have a mate who works as an employee at Asda who gave me the tip off so to speak!

Do not vote cold please until you call your store and find out first chaps!!

Cheers

@ WRXiceman: Why not just call your store mate local to you?
Not massively surprising that their doing this again.
Yeah, I'll check the papers tomorrow. If it's not in there then, I'll check again on Thursday
I doubt any shop will show their hand this early, gives too much time for competitors to react
Ooooh another FIFA, who would have thought it, but the real good news of course is that those of us who are not insane enough to blow £26.00 + on this will now be able to pick up FIFA 10 for tuppence.

I work at asda, and beleive this is the price also. I doubt very much it will be £26, and as far as i know, no one knows the price at the stores, until the day before when the POS comes in and the prices come down on the system. Only Asda House would be able to confirm, and like said already, i doubt they would give the price over the phone due to competitors passing them self of as a customer.
You fools, this time next year it will be a fiver, so wait

Not true I still have no problems finding a ranked match in FIFA 08 on my first attempt as of a couple of days ago.

If I remember correctly FIFA 09 was £5 instore a couple of weeks after FIFA 10 & it was £3 at CEX by Xmas. Should be something similar this year as well.

How does the saying go, "the instruction booklet from last seasons FIFA is this seasons loo role"

Smell you later

P.S the actual FIFA disc makes for a very nice coaster, infact right now my steaming hot mug of coffee is sitting on FIFA 08 well it was either that or SpyHunter (Nowhere to run).
So many tight asses its incredible. Is everyone job less on here andthe thought of 26 pounds make them re think their whole yearly budget?

Jeez.

No, stores usually advertise the actual price no earlier than thursday, I seem to remember an advert during a Thursday Europa league game from Tesco about their price for a FIFA release.
O well, I pick up my fifa game tomorrow Perks of working at game

Does the perk include getting it at a decent price, rather than the standard £39.99 they seem to sell them at. I'd rather wait a couple of days and get it for ~25. Fifa 10 on PS3 was £24.97 from Tesco on launch day last year.
Yea, Probs getting it for £29, but yea. Don't mind, get it early and means don't have to go huntiging for a copy.
