Fifa 11 Supermarket Thread

Please post if you have heard any information regarding the supermarket price of Fifa 11.

The game hit shelves next Friday and was subject to a fierce price war last year with the game available at 24.99 on release day!

Here are the rumours floating around at the moment;

Morrissons
"The price of Fifa 11 next week in Morrisons will be £36.99, with a deal to buy a second chart game at a cheaper price.
Big difference from last years £25, and I doubt they will change the price on launch day as they already have an offer in place."

Tesco
"Will either run an offer with points or discount the title are waiting on other rivals to announce plans" Rumours of 24.99 again.

Asda
"Will price match other supermarkets, no confirmed price"

Sainsburys
"No Rumours as of yet"

Will post updates/rumours as I hear them (:

Wouldn't get to exited yet. V much doubt that any decision has been made by Asda or Tesco yet. I remember Tesco under curing Asda on the last day last year.

I always get excited, deliberatley avoided pre-ordering, if I end up paying 35 it's only the same I would have paid online so worth waiting just in case, I've not heard any rumour/news updates yet, will try keep you guys posted.

Any updates?

pre-ordered to get it delivered the day before. i get enough play out of this as it is

Just rang Tesco and the Scottish lass on the other end said "there's no such deal as far as I'm aware"

Apparently Sainsburys are £24.97 when you spend £30 or more instore.

Check the major tabloids thursday/friday but i am hoping that the offer is run on launch weekend

Take from it what your will , but I just spoke to asda and they said although not confirmed the price will be £29 or £30 from this friday !
No reserves apparently ?

A man in Tesco said that the deal for FIFA 11 on 360 and PS3 is:
Buy FIFA 11 for £24.99 when you purchase any other top 10 chart game.

Well this is what was advertised in my paper this am.
Sainsburys £24.97 when you spend £30 or more instore, so good if you plan on doing your weekely shop.
Elsewhere Blockbusters and HMV are doing silly trade in offers
Anyone one seen cast iron proof of tesco and asda deals???????

on another thread, adverts for trade in offers but it looks like its £29.97 in asda

Anyone know how much i'm likely to get for Fifa 10 if trade in?

These are apparently the offers:

ASDA - £29.97, or 97p when you trade in Trade-in Halo: Reach, Dead Rising 2 or F1 2010
Sainsbury's - £24.97 when you spend £30 or more on other items in store
Tesco - £24.97 when you buy any other chart title
Morrisons - £27.99

HHmmmmm seeing as asda is on the way to work it looks like they will get my custom
Anyone know what the cheapest tesco top 10 title would be.
Failing that may have to send the missus to sainsburys for the weekly shop

I might do my shopping at Sainsburys this week.

1 bottle of milk is about £30 right?

Just a thought... are these supermarket offers on day of release only? Or are they long-running ones?

Normally they just do a one-day-only offer, but normally it's just a bloody price and not all this trade-in/minimum purchase malarkey.
