    Firefox and embedded music

Is it possible to get Firefox to automatically play embedded music? I have tried everything I know, but without success. Tried a few downloads from Firefox, but I'm probably downloading the wrong stuff.

Music that automatically plays when you visit sites. I design web sites, and some people like background music to play. It seems that only Firefox does not do this automatically.

no... my firefox does that finely... no problem

let see... try click Tools - Options - content see if Javascript and java is activated/enabled

also try to see if it happens only to a particular website or all websites.

If possible, post the HTML code that you use to embed the music/video

It plays autamatically on this website:

Websites with background music are tacky anyway.

Found a better workaround for this, it at least lets you choose to play the music or not.
Dowload this tab from Firefox: addons.mozilla.org/en-…419
Once it is installed and Firefox restarts you'll notice the Firefox logo on the bottom right of the browser.

Click it and it will mimic Internet Explorer. The logo will change. Click it again to return to Firefox.
