i tried to click on a you tube link earlier about mw2 and it just paused, had to shut it down via task manager, then a message came up saying firefox plug in something or another had stopped working?

must admit the latest version seems very unstable to me too once I have a few tabs open.

That'll be plugin container, the biggest mistake they've ever made. A shockingly bad bit of software that falls over daily (in my case).

Thought it was my lappy being a bit of a pain I remember doing an update a couple of days ago.

cant you try turning it off?

In the address bar, type about:config
    Filter for dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll
Set it to false and Flash will not use plugin-container

It's already set to false... Flash (and plug in container) still fall over at least once a day.
I though it was the pc, but I've just got a new laptop (running W7 64 bit) and it's just the same on that.

Just done this, restarted firefox and it worked. Nice one fella.

This is a bit off topic but I use firefox and I'd noticed on ebay my listings weren't selling. I changed the settings so I could see at a glance how many people had viewed my listings and it was only a few. So I searched for my listings and couldn't find any apart from the one. I contacted ebay and they said it was an error with firefox. Not sure if anyone else had the same problem?

binned it pain in the neck, pity because i did like it.
