Hi, how accurate are these, especially for running and counting miles? I've read they can be a couple of miles off?

Thanks

distance = stride length x steps
stride length is manually entered
never going to be accurate given the variance in stride length going up and down hill when running.

probably.
i should add that i use the fitbit charge hr
i run with mates using various trackers.
comparing with gps, variance can be as little as 200 meters or so but i've seen 1km before.

I use THIS as well as my fitbit and so far the fitbit is quite accurate.
