    Florida villa 2012

    Hi

Were going to Florida 20th april 2012 for two weeks and were trying to find a decent villa that we can afford and wondered if anyone can help please. We have looked at numerous websites and cannot really find anything.

We want a villa thats a min of 3 bedrooms, close to the 27 and would like to spend £800 max including pool heat for the two weeks.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Have a look on the DIBB website - plenty of villas to rent on there.
    Here you go

Weve had a look on DIBB but when we msg people they come back more expensive than they advertise. Thank you for your response though

    i used this villa
    floridavillarosso.co.uk
4 bed 3 bath villa and paid £620 for 12 days at the tail end of last year..... very nice and lovely, fairly secluded pool

Just had a look and it's unavailable when you require it

Ive had a villa from ebay the last two years in Florida.
In 2009 we had a 4 bed, 3 bath villa with pool and games room etc for £550 for two weeks, in 2010 we had a 5 bed, 3 bath house with a pool and games room etc for £800 for two weeks.
They were both absolutely immaculate and on the 27.

There are loads on ebay and usually have tons of pics so you can see exactly what you are getting. We haggled the price which all the sellers seemed happy to do

Do you remember the ebayers name at all or have any contact details?

    have pm'd you hun

We use holiday rentals (home away) or owners direct. Find 10-20 villas you like in the right area that are available then start haggling by email. You will find about half will negotiate. I will always give a phone call before committing to anything. We paid £575 this year for 2 weeks in 4 bed villa with pool, sat nav, etc. The cheapest we got offered was 1 villa at £220 for 1 week and another at £260 for the other week, but price is not everything.

As a ball park I find most villa owners seem to be happy to go to either £350 pw or £300 pw.

I've booked my last 2 villas through the dibb and have never encountered that. Most of the villa search results have a link to their own website, complete with fixed prices.
What do they say then when you ask about the difference in price?

Whilst I like the Dibb site, I have never found any really cheap deals on there, many prices go up when you contact the owners, and they seem less keen on haggling, which is a shame.

In August 2007 I used this 3 bedroom villa - floridavilla4rental.co.uk/ind…htm - for a 3 week stay. I can honestly say it was the best holiday we've ever had and a big part of the whole experience was the accomodation; it was superb.

If I could afford to go back to Florida, oh I wish, then I'd have no reservations about using this villa again.
