I switched form Orange to plusnet and was offline for a couple of days, so not too much of a problem, and plusnet were very helpful in getting me up and running again - they even phoned me back to help with the set up rather than 'waste my phone bill'.

goiing from tiscali(talk talk) to orange and apparently orange are going to send me a text when it all starts switching
fingers crossed it's fast! lol

when i went from orange to BT i had no downtime. When my orange router stopped working i plugged the BT one in and access was immediate.

From BT to Sky within half hour.

ADSL with a MAC code downtime should be 5 - 30 mins thats all. Couple of jumpers need ran in the exchange thats all. You'll lose dial tone and ADSL for this time. Should take a good jumper man about 5 mins to do the job
