I recently bought a mobile phone here, using the For Sale/Trade section, but when it arrived it was missing some accessories that the seller promised would be included. I offered the seller the option to send me a small partial refund for the missing accessories and I'd be satisfied and leave positive feedback. The seller agreed and promised to make the money transfer as soon as possible. But then I waited and waited and nothing happened, even though I sent multiple messages reminding him about it.

What should I do? I guess I can leave negative feedback, but I'll probably get negative feedback in return. Should I also contact the mods? How do I do this?

use the contact us section and voice your concerns to the mods and admins who can better advise you

There is nothing you can do, the mods won't get involved.

Write in the thread the steps you have taken to resolve the issue. Leave it a day or two so that he/she has a right to reply.

If this doesn't help, leave negative feedback, so that others are warned about his/her behaviour.
If you receive a negative in return, just refer people(who question your neg) to the thread to show the real reason for the negative feedback(retaliation).

ive already contacted the mods and am waiting for a reply .. ive messaged you and kept in contact with you , im a disputing this has the items fitted when they left me , you recieved the phone on the saturday as stated on royal mail website and you claimed it hadnt been delivered , then you e-mail monday saying you have it but its scratched and bits dont fit , i took pictures and showed them on the forum .. it was the phone in the pictures so how did it get scratched when it was wrapped very well and packaged , --- i am being really understandble here , u have provided no proof that they dont fit and that the phone is not as described , i have pictures of it before it left and the bits did fit because i couldnt find them and then had to check they were right when i did .. so it what i want to know is were was the phone from the saturday to the monday when it was sent special delvery and website claimed it was delivered on the saturday .. ..

ive emalied mods and had no response , im doing everything by the rules.

RM delivered the parcel on Monday, even though it says on the website they delivered on Saturday. I'm sorry, but I'm not a RM website admin, so I don't post the info myself. But anyway, what does this have to do with the fact that you sent cables and headphones from a totally different phone? And then agreed to send a partial refund, which you've never sent. Look, I seriously don't care about the few quid you promised, but I hate when people lie to me and you clearly did. And you lie here again by saying that you tried the accessories and they fit - what, did they magically shrink in the parcel?

And as you can see, I'm not even disputing the scratches. The phone is in way worse condition than you described, but never mind, forget about it.

This happened to me too on a dvd i bought on this website with a seller going back on his word and lying to my face with promises which meant i lost all respect for him, if the seller has agreed on a refund/partial refund he/she should honour it, otherwise your word on this website aint worth much if you go back on your words
