Forcing a printer to print with cartridges missing (epson)

Ive got an r200 and im trying to force it to print with light cyan and light magenta missing, does anyone know if this is at all possible?

Same printer as mine and I don't think you can run it with cartridges missing.

These are very cheap too, think I pay about £8 for a full set from a local PC shop.

Only possible if using cis or with a chip resetter, not with standard cartridges. Hope that helps.

yeah or a gimp printer driver works. i have an epson r300 printer and i sometimes select the print options to print greyscale instead of colour, and buy more black ink cartridges as i dont need to print colour all the time.
