Forest Holidays or log cabin style breaks - has anyone has any sucess booking one of these breaks that doesnt break the bank?

Preferably not too far from York

We all loved our Forest holiday break...its only MUCH cheaper when the children are at school....

warmwell dorset, have log cabins (can be booked on The Sun holiday deals when there running)

Got a good deal at Ribble Valley View (Blackburn/Preston area) at the end of October half term. £141 for weekend break via Hoseasons. It's a small group of lodges on a dairy farm. Great price compared with other lodge breaks or haven breaks. Might not be the sort of place you are after though cos it's a simple set up - no reception, play area, on site shop etc

Low bell end Farm in the north York moors. Either book the glamping yurts or the converted Hayloft.

I've done both and my partner and I go to the Hayloft every year for a few days.

Just posting because of the place name above and wonder if there is a High Bell End Farm.
