Formal Shirts - advice needed

I normally buy my work shirts in M&S but want to invest in some better quality ones.
I have been looking at TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt, both of which have offers of 4 for £100, probably going to choose double cuff ones which I will wear without ties.
Does anyone have any experience of either of these in terms of fit and quality, and which would you recommend? Also should I consider Thomas Pink as well?

Cheers for any help and advice.

    Hi there,

I've been buying TM Lewin shirts for several years now and never had cause to complain.

They aren't the cheapest on the market but do offer great value for money, in my opinion.

The material is usually thicker than normal and the quality shows. Moreover, shirts that have been washed for over 12 months still come up like new.

There is a great shop on the McArthur Glen Outlet Village at Ellesmere Port where the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, without being pushy.

    Best of luck

My husband buys his shirts from Next. I think they have a great range of clothing for men.

I've dabbled with Lewin, Pink et al but tbh have concluded that there really is nothing to beat the quality of the top M&S shirts. They wash well, last an age (I've had some of mine for well over a decade) and, most importantly for a formal shirt, they iron really well which I have found to be a major problem with the more upmarket brands.
