Recently did a software update onmy 2018 iPad Pro and saw this in the settings.

Worth doing an update then checking, you need to download the tv app before activating.

    Be careful on family plans , abs existing subscriptions. Had issues and Apple told me won’t apply if member in a household plan has existing subscription

    This is very interesting. I thought 1 year Apple TV+ was only for new devices. Which version did you update to?
