FREE Amazon prime delivery WITHOUT PRIME ACCOUNT

Note: this is not the same as Amazon prime free trial.

Hello everyone, I'd just like to point out that this is slightly immoral, but so is tax avoidance

If you order something through Amazon and select next day/same day shipping and you don't have an Amazon prime subscription, there will be a notification stating that you can get free unlimited next day shipping if you sign up for prime.

What you need to do is click the notification, pay for prime (which will charge your account £7.99 for a month of prime) and then place your order.
If you then cancel your prime membership straight after your order and confirm that you want to end your prime membership immediately and not at the end of the month, it will credit £7.99 back to your account.

Your account statement will show
-£7.99 payment for prime
Then a day or 2 later it'll show
+£7.99 prime refund.

My friend has done this for 3 orders over the past 2 days and they've all been delivered next day or even same day and I've not been charged for postage.

That's great until they realise and cancel your account.

And blacklist your address!

Yes it is very likely you will get banned for abusing the service

As above, repeatedly doing this will raise a flag on your account and end up with it getting banned.

Adding to the reason why Amazon can no longer sustain the perfect service anymore . They have already changed the refund period to 3 weeks because of people taking the biscuit, whats next.

surely this is classed as fraud too so if Amazon want to then can notify the police and you will be in court

jesus Christ almighty.

No, but they can go ahead and debit the £7.99 from your card as you have used the prime service.

Yeah they will blacklist you and possibly press charges as it's technically fraud and theft well done poster you just essentially admitted on a public website to committing a crime

Damn.
I mean my friend has done this 3 times over the past day or so, not me.

They allow you to cancel any time.

If they don't want people to abuse this then they should change their terms of service.

Amazon are quite familiar with loopholes after all judging by their tax returns lol.

Just to clarify, it's "my friend" who did this not me.

Amazon from the future will probably send a terminator back in time to kill the OP's grandparents so they will never have existed to scam them on Prime.

Tax avoidance is immoral. Being a thief is scummy and illegal.
As Amazon abide by the rules, they are neither.

LOL at everyone thinking this is fraud or theft.

Not legally, but it does fit the broad definition of fraud. As intended to get free postage, i.e financial gain.

"wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain."

If they don't want people to abuse it they can just ban them. They aren't a public service.

oh dear... what a joke!
couldn't find a big enough face palm so this will have to do!

Laughing at everyone who think that just because Amazon are scum when it comes to paying their dues, the rest of us should act in the same, despicable manner.

If that was aimed at me, I do not condone this being done. It's just not illegal.
