Free Book Rental & Cheap DVD Rental

As has been reported in the press all week if you don't use it you'll lose it, so join your local library

All your favourite authors including recent releases will be there and the latest movies for example 'the hangover DVD' £1 for one weeks rental.

You have two weeks on books, so it should make you pick the book up more often to read too.

yes 2 hours free internet per day, and free access to microsoft windows products so you can update your cv, check your facebook etc. no reason not to have a job anymore

Intelligence !!, nothing to do with it, I'm just reminding people use it or lose it !! i haven't been in a library for years and signed up this week. very impressed !!

I waste so much money on hotukdeals DVDs that i watch once and then get rid of (via charity shops or ebay), same with books.
I'm gonna save a minimum £15 a month on dvds and books alone

The amount of rubbish deals on hotukdeals these days i think librarys offer a great deal. Its also carbon neutral, if you walk down and zero waste of plastics / paper
as dvd are a throw away item as few people watch a dvd more than once or reads a book more than once.. for the price of a current DVD £8 online you could hire one out for a week for £1 or 50 pence
    do the maths simple

hon - you are preaching - i - we - some dont need it

you try telling that to youngsters - men/women over 50 who would do a far better job than some of the 20/30 yr olds - do not generalise - insults some people

    onto libraries
as for free internet - we have to pay - 50p half hour

ours opens late 2 days a week - 8 pm

agree with all your plusses - we use ours regular - order latest books in read them - return
also buy a lot from ours - 25p each bargain as i then sell them 50p at carboot:)

well i must admit i'm not sat at the library free terminal :0)

your right, I should not generalise. my comment about getting a job was aimed at those too lazy or inept to get a job, those who enjoy not paying taxes.. and scrounging as much off the state as is systematically (if not fraudulently) possible.. including but not generalising to those who make a living out of not paying tax on full time ebay selling or car booting full time. hotukdeals is full of them !!

I don't get it with car boot sellers many are unemployed and can't be bothered working but are quite content to get up at 4am on a sunday morning to argue over pennies.
