It's free if you have mins included within your contract. To dial, you need to drop the 1st "0" though

Is this true? Just never heard about that method before.

Lol, ok, which network is this then please? I've NEVER heard of this, there's more chance of you getting a number not recognised but if you can and have done this, it'd be nice to know

Should work on all networks - deffo works on O2.

Just dial 800 100 100

Works with all freephone numbers

Well i've a 3 contract phone and it comes up not recognised with the leading 0 dropped.
Type as OP, and it says this will be charged at your normal network rate.
I've an o2 handset for work, drop the leading zero and number not recognised, so doesn't work for o2 here

YES IT DOES

I've even just tried this number on my O2 phone, without the leading zero & it works fine.

No need to shout, i'm saying it doesn't work for me, you're saying it does work for you......i am sure other's will comment.

If you have free mins try 01635 774800

these number came from www.saynoto0870.com

Might be because it's a work phone - your work might have blocked certain things

Dunno, like i say, we need more folks to speak up

Tried on my work moby (O2 again) - that works fine too

Been using this method for years, if you dial an 0800 number, a voice recording actually tells you that it's not a freephone number from your handset, and to drop the leading 0 to dial it. This then comes out of your free mins !

TO ChrisUK: Chris, I just had an arguement with O2, because I dropped a leading ZERO yet still got charged £10 for an hour's call I thought was free.. They refuse to refund it!
