London School of Barbering (LSB) is a training school for barbers. All trainee barbers go through extensive training, and are constantly supervised by professional barbers.
Although they are trainee, they are as good as any other barber that I have used. Seriously impressive.
I have been several times, and have always been impressed. Usual prices is £3, and that includes wash, cut, and styling.
There are other branches (Liverpool, London & Fountain Street, Manchester), also good, but may not have the same offer. If you are in the area, and need a haircut, well worth a visit, even if you pay three quid. Haircuts usually take around an hour, in my experience.
They are Covid Compliant:
• 50% reduced capacity to maximise distancing
• Clients receive disposable gown and mask
• Barbers wear visors, masks and gloves
• Tools and chairs sterilised after every client
• Temperature check upon entry
• Hand sanitiser everywhere
