sorted byYou can get a 10-point car health check* for free as part of your membership. You can book your check in-store or online at Halfords*, at any of its 750 stores and garages.
It takes about 30 minutes for the 10-point check, which normally costs £15. You can book these seven days a week from store/garage opening until closing time. Simply book in your car by choosing your time slot online or in-store.
- Headlight and brake light check- “some bulbs are poor and headlights misaligned”
- Wiper blade condition check- “you really need these changing”
- Battery health check- “ it’s on its way out, we can replace it”
- Tyre depth check- “ deary me, they are legal but really need changing for the winter”
- Tyre inflation check and top up “ your tyres are prematurely worn out not staying on top of the correct pressure”
- Windscreen chip check “ we can repair for you”
- MOT due date reminder - “ we can book it now after the repairs and additional work from this check”
- Oil level check- “ needs topping up desperately, we have the correct oil here”
