Free McDonalds Monopoly stickers boosting chances of free food / drink or other prizes.

As the Monopoly offer is about to start nationwide at McDonalds restaurant, it's always good to know you can boost your sticker intake with one simple request........just ask for a large cup of tap water......they can't charge you for it and gets you extra stickers at no cost.

Hope this is helpful to someone and gets you some free food/drinks, or even help towards some better prizes. Be lucky!

Tap water that is then wasted, all in the name of free food.

I don't know anyone that would drink a large cup of tap water and a large soft drink.

Thanks for posting MRDAMO666; I've moved this to Misc as it's really a tip rather than a deal.

I'll definitely be doing this. Grab a coffee from there most days.

but they can refuse, or only give you a small one, or put it in a non-stickered cup

Guess that makes you 'proper skanky'

Does this cause loss in national esteem, where thousand upon thousands of native sounding British request for tap water and are served by immigrant and home workers on minimum wages.

I'll be the first to admit it Nath

Thought it was only establishments that served alcohol that had to provide free tap water?

thanks for this deal
it lets me know i am not that tight

I'd prefer to ankle tap paying customers and make them go flying. Then be the gentleman of helping them up in the process stealing their monopoly stickers, whilst getting the staff to provide new drinks/fries.

Someone with a thirsty dog maybe?

Ah yes I think it is the 'buying something' where it kicks in(also sounds like it was changed in '10 )

I have to say I only drink a certain brand of mint green tea, never any other hot drink other then hot chocolate.. so a lot of the time I go to McDonald'sservice stations etc and buy a mealif I'm on a drive or trip I also ask for a cup of hot water so I can use my own teabag with it as I don't drink normal tea.. (I'm very willing to pay but they always say no charge) they always give me it in the regulars hot drinks cup with the sticker on so I stuck it on the card and save em up to get a free one.. call me tight.. but I do it lol

The lengths some people will go to to get a freebie X)

nope they do not, they are on to this from last year you get a cup with no stickers, or in Boro you get told to do one

In all my years of looking through this site, this has to be the lowest of the low 'council tricks' I have ever come across. And worse still, being promoted on the hduk Facebook page (which has also obviously been taken over by skanks)
5 large cups of tap water please and 4 empty fries boxes to put my babies 'special food' in. Any food? Not hungry (oh, unless I win a big Mac from my skanky con trick)

I did when i was younger. They usually give u a plain cup. Lol only worked a few times.

1st world problems - getting a free cup of water in order to win free food and drink!

As Comic Relief approaches this week, I think it'd be extra special to take a video of you performing such an act and getting one of the many celebrities who journey to Africa at this time of year, to take it with them and show the people who have to walk miles for their water X)

Please dont abuse the system or they will just lower the chances of winning food or even refuse to give u a cup of water, where some people might really need the water

I just read this online :

A post on Facebook - which was widely shared - recommends getting a cup of large tap water - which is free - meaning you don't have to hand over any cash, but you will get your hands on a cup and therefore a valuable Monopoly sticker.

But a McDonald's spokesman told The Sun: "This recommendation shouldn’t work as there are non-Monopoly cups in restaurants that should be used for tap water. These won’t have the stickers on there."

As Comic Relief approaches this week...

The BBC gets enough money from the licence fee (which they increased recently), why should I fund more money into their coffers? If I wanted to give money to charitable causes I would give it to a proper charity, not to these clowns and not to the scammers Unicef and Oxfam (and not to Save the Children just because they still recognise Tony Blair as a 'humanitarian'.)

When I posted this on HUKD I was thinking of the masses, and hoping people got a cheeky free burger or a mcflurry on the house with extra tokens.

Now I feel bad for the scorn I have brought to our nation and the years of hard time I am facing for my stupidity.......sits here, rolls eyes!

As this is a monopoly thread. You can apparently enter these codes on the self serve tills/boards.
Mcflurry -42545
Apple pie- 41050
Egg mcmuffin-65209
