unlike car and home insurance, you can have multiple life insurance policies. Is this correct?

Yes
Will this be cancelled automatically after one year, or they will charge you for another year?

It’s cancelled automatically
If only one child then do both parents get free insurance or just one?
What's the catch? Auto renew with a monthly cost?

Also want to know this
we have 2x under 4 year olds. Does that mean me and the mrs take out one policy each for 30k cover?

A bit confused tbh!

Yes that’s right.

Parents can apply for separate policies for each child under 4 years old

They don’t take any bank details so it can’t be auto renewed.

I believe that both parents can take out a policy.

So, no catch? I'm just suspicious about things being free

.I've done this before, there seems to be no catch, they just send you a renewal offer once the years over.
Worth doing if you have insurance or not.
Both insurance doesn’t work for me

there's no catch. they will want to sell you a policy when this one expires but that's it.
no obligation. no payment details required.
Can someone share an active link as I tried them and the page doesn’t load
