Hi there, was wondering if anyone could help me.

I'm driving down for a gig next wednesday from Worcester to London so will most likely be arriving into north west london.

Does anyone know anywhere near a tube station that has free/cheap parking? We don't need to park in central london, just somewhere near a tube station.

Probably getting into london around midday, so anywhere i can park for 12 hours without it costing an arm n leg.

I don't really mind where i park, as long as its in north/west london, can be miles outside of central london, as long as theres a tube stop nearby!

if you come off the m1, brent cross you can park at and walk to the tube station (northern line)

I used to do this parking down (I think it was) Park Road in Hendon.Brent Cross area but theres meters there now too.

I will be going to a concert on Tuesday 21st and will probably end up parking there and just footing the bill. I think it was about £5 to cover me for the evening but not 100% sure.

It is REALLY hard now to find any free parking anywhere near London.

cheers guys, the gigs is in kentish town so will probably park somewhere on the northern line.

Tube prices seem to have got quite a bit more expensive than last time i went london

I live in Alcester and travel to Uxbridge or station just before and go by tube from there. Then all zones tube card is now £6.20 me finks but that is all day it may be cheaper later!

sorry for bumping an ageing thread, but if anyones interested we parked very easily in kentish town. The road parking was free there after 11.30am iirc. Just a 2 minute walk from the venue as well!

edit: on glenhurst ave. 0.4miles from HMV forum according to google.
