    Free Sat Question.....

ok folks some questions lol i have been on the free sat website but couldnt find them!

How many channels are HD, is it bbc 1 and ITV just ?
Once you pay the one off fee of £150 in comet, do you have to pay for installation aswell?
Does the box improve the picture on an hd tele thru other channels like qvc, itv2 etc etc

    thanks for the help

Oh my mum has Sky plus, can the free sat be fed thru that also to her tele and mine in my room ?
would i have to pay for installation for an extra cable to be fed from the dish to my room ?

I think just the two channels at the moment, think installation is included and don't think the picture will be any better really, not that you'd notice I wouldn't think.

Other people will have a better idea than me tho.

    No Guv..i called them up

you can use the free sat thru your original sky dish....but u would have to wire it all yourself..
thats when the £80 odd installation comes into play, they give you a seperate dish anyway and wire it to how ever many rooms you requested at time of purchase

I was referring to the "Not all areas have freesat yet." comment. Clearly he is talking about terrestrial TV - (Freeview).

I'd recommend you DONT pay for an installation. If you already have a sky dish, save your money, its a dodle to do. Youv'e said (If I'm reading correctly) you already have sky+ so will have a quad LNB. All you need to do is add another cable (connected by an F-Connector) at both ends and drill a hole in a wall if thats needed.
