    Frozen Olive Oil

    Just found a bottle of frozen olive oil in the car.. Will it be ok to use once it's thawed? I dont want olive oil poisoning. lol

    I dunno. It went a funny colour.. lol..

    Use it in salads,but not in Frying as the ice will make the oil pop like popcorn.

    Leave it in the kitchen and it will go clear again.
    Use as normal.

    It will only be used for frying/roasting etc, we use extra virgin for salads...

    There is no water in olive oil

    Chilling or freezing olive oil does not harm it, and the oil will return to its normal consistency when it is warmed. The ideal temperature to store olive oil to reduce oxidation but to avoid clouding is around 50°F.

    Correct, the oil can sometime change colour so there is nothing to worry about, once it has thawed, cook away. Even though I hate OO lol.
