It's alright but I would be aiming for an SSD at that budget, might be worth looking at CCLonline.

Also 145FPS at Fortnite (which is claimed) is pretty pointless when the monitor is only capable of 75 Hz.
Alternative
cclonline.com/pc/…pc/

£472
i3-9100F
8GB RAM
GTX 1650 super <= better card
480GB SSD

Cheap Windows 10 key on ebay or windows 10 dvd is £50 on amazon

The monitor you mention is £100 at currys.
have you considered building one? What's your budget? Will you need monitor, keyboard, mouse etc?
With building one, you’d get better value for money.

RAM could do with improving IMO.

If you need it before Christmas then something like - amazon.co.uk/Cyb…KF/ is pretty good.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
RAM - 8GB 2400MHz DDR4
SSD - 240GB SATA-III
HDD - 1TB 7200RPM SATA-III
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB
OS - Windows 10 Home 64
Warranty - 2 Years Parts & 3 Years Labour
Price - £562.80

Just add a Monitor/keyboard and Mouse.

Also here is a chart showing different GPUs in a 17 game average at 1080p (high/ultra) to make it easier to choose:

I'm waiting for him to answer the questions I posted above
That pc isn't great. You'll find having a son that age and that pc your son will outgrow that pc within a year.

As others have said ideally you should be looking at building one. Then it can be upgraded at a reasonable price when your son outgrows it.

Building pcs is very simple, the hard work used to be knowing if hardware is compatible but nowadays there are websites like partpicker that do all the hard work for you.

I’d say around £800 budget. He’d need monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I wouldn’t know where to start building one. So’d prefer to buy pre built. Thanks for your help
