    Gaming Laptop Advice

Hi, I'm looking to get a decent gaming laptop for £350-£550. Want to be able to play games like Skyrim or Day Z. I have searched and looked at the links but it seems the best deals are always changing. If anyone can a link a good deal it would be appreciated.

Even at the top end of your budget you are going to struggle to find a laptop with a 950m graphics on a 15.6" laptop and even these are drying up as they are end of life due to the 1050 GPU coming to laptops in a couple of months.

Don't know why this got marked down, you simply can't get a decent gaming laptop that will play the latest games at a spec you would want it to run at for that op price band, sorry op, why not go for a second hand desktop with decent cpu and gpu, you could easily run games at high or ultra for the top end of your price bracket on a desktop

It's not impossible, I picked up a Toshiba S70, i7 4700HQ, 16GB, 17.3" FHD, 1TB, R9 265x reduced from £1200 to £449 Nov 2014 from saveonlaptops. It served well playing games @ 1080p (granted without many bells and whistles on) for over a year before needing to be repurposed as a portable workstation. Just don't expect to see a deal like that everyday, with 1050 laptops coming out soon however any 950m stock left lingering when they are released will likely get heavily reduced.

I'd say get a PC as they are easier to upgrade to get meet the demands of games in the future

This is just over the top of your budget but probably the best you can get right now for new.

If I was you I would look at 2nd hand or wait until after CES has finished this weekend https://www.ces.tech/ a few new laptops might be launched with the new cards which may drive down the price of the current gaming laptops.
