Nintendo could be about to announce an upcoming remake of classic game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time for the Wii console.
The Japanese firm revealed last Wednesday (March 25) at the Games Developers Conference that it will soon release The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks on the DS.
According to Game Focus, the firm may follow this up with confirmation of a Wii version of the acclaimed Nintendo 64 title during the North American DSi launch on April 5.
Released in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time was widely considered to be one of the defining games of its generation.

Electronic Arts has announced that it has commissioned an animated film to accompany its upcoming video game adaptation of Dante's Inferno.
The film will be produced by Starz Media's Film Roman, the studio which worked on the Dead Space animated prequel.
The film will follow Dante as he journeys through the nine circles of hell, and will expand on the story of the game.
"The feature will explore aspects of the poem that the game does not, and will provide more insight into the characters and the unique story adaptation that the game has established," said Dante's Inferno creative director Jonathan Knight.
It was also revealed that multiple studios will contribute to the films art style in order to create different visuals for each circle.
Dante's Inferno is due to be released for the 360 and PS3 later this year.…tml

Sega has announced that former Cheap Trick guitarist and founding member Rick Nielsen will provide the music for upcoming Wii shooter The Conduit.
The Conduit, which is being developed by High Voltage Software, sees players battle an alien terrorist group intent on taking over a futuristic Washington DC.
Nielsen, who had hits with 'I Want You To Want Me' and 'Surrender', is known for his powerful guitar rifts, but has apparently created a more ambient sound better suited to the tone of the game.
"Even though he's known for driving rock guitar, he was able to provide great ambience and textural qualities that perfectly fits the mood of the game and helps it become a truly unique experience," said High Voltage Software's Eric Nofsinger.
The Conduit is due to be released for the Wii in summer 2009.…tml
