Gaming pc/laptop help

Posted 30th Mar
So I have been console gamer my life and I think I want to change to pc now, a big reason for this is to play my quest with a link cable to play games like half-life alyx, but I have to clue really what I am looking for. I have a budget of around 900 and would have to be on finance, a laptop or a small tower would be best, I don't want to build one, I been told that theses websites are quite good. Thank you

How good is your credit score?
If you get a 0% purchase credit card, you would not be restricted where to purchase from.

From my memory, pcspecialist or cyberpowersystem are relatively expensive.

If your budget is £900 for the tower, use this as benchmark

e b u y e r £880

Chillblast are a really good website, check them out. You can configure each build if you need to as well.

However I think you will struggle to play games like Half Life Alyx in that budget. Keep in mind you need to buy a VR headset, monitor, mouse and keyboard and speakers. You might already have some of those things but just a heads up.
I don't think it's a particularly good time to get a PC. Unless you're desperate, I'd wait until the new consoles come out. Things are about to reset generation wise which will spill over into the PC space. You'll be able to get more for your money then. Spending that sort of money on a prebuild, you'd want it to be "current" for a few years at least
If you have about £900 then get a 3600x, rx 5700xt system.

Probably better going with PCL
